The reliability has been poor, the worst of any vehicle a have owned. Had to tow it to the dealer in my first week of ownership, the engine just stopped running.

Great review! If you don’t mind me asking, how many KMs do you get on a full tank of city driving with your Trendline? I’ve looked at the vw site and the brochures but would very much like to hear it directly from an owner of the vehicle.

Very interesting tale; somehow, it seems like the Audi and the Inn are a perfect fit for one another. It makes me want to be on the West Coast – and it kind of makes me want to drive one of these beasts. However, my car-buying budget may not be quite up there yet, so the Audi will have to wait.

A friend of mine is thinking of buying a Kia Sportage. Have you tested one? I’m told that it’s a fair choice, but I’d like to know if you have any thoughts on this.

Very good review. Simple and honest is the perfect description, though a concept that has eluded 95% of the auto writers who have tested this car. Perhaps simple and honest are the lost definitions of “class”.

I enjoyed very much this article. I wish Canada would also have the 3-row 5 seat version of the Prius V (V +), as in Japan. How soon will you send it to Canada? My favourite dealership is Belair Lexus Toyota in Ottawa, ON. Have my salelady inform me when a test-drive of the Prius V will be available.

Everything you said is correct, it handles like a dream. And you are right about winter tires, I live in Alberta and driving in snow is way of live here.
Winter tires make driving this car even better. My “Günther” is the best car I ever had.
